Well here is somthing a little different. I guess not all that different, since it is a girl, and i am assuming that is what you expect from me when i post most of the time. I took a Black canary sketch i did and tried to finish it using old school comic book zipatone coloring. Not sure how successful it was. But here it is for you to enjoy! -JC
I love the uneven color. It really gives it that old comic book look. I do sometimes miss the grain of old printing and film. Not that I don't like the perfect solid colors of the computer age. But I don't think it works for everything. After all, we are talking art. What might be bad for one work is not bad for another. I do think the perfect colors of the computer age has made more works of art better. But, there are times when I think some works of art would look better with the old comic book or film look. I am surprised at how good your modern style looks done this way, very surprised. I think it looks as good this way as the way you have been doing it. I'm not sure which color methode looks the best for you style? I like them both.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
